GoodBookey Team Spotlight: Tony Pease

GoodBookey takes some serious pride in the awesome members of our team (after all, they helped build this app!). So let’s get to know one core member of the founding team: Tony Pease!

Who is Tony?

Tony graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear technician in part of the submarine service. Additionally, Tony is a technological executive and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience with early-stage technological companies. He has sold and implemented complex technical programs for some of the world’s largest global clients. Tony is a jack-of-all-trades but at his core, he is a problem solver. He loves to learn new things and challenge assumptions, which is why he’s so great at what he does for GoodBookey!

Why Did Tony Start GoodBookey & What Role Does He Play?

Tony’s wife, Anita, founded a non-profit called Small Hands Big Hearts. He has been helping with business operations since it was founded. While working in the non-profit world, Tony realized the biggest problem that non-profits face is outreach and awareness, and as a result, low funds for their missions. He wanted to find a commercially viable way to help high impact non-profits with low-cost fundraising and awareness. GoodBookey was the result. Tony is one of the cofounders and the CEO of GoodBookey. Additionally, he is primarily responsible for sales and market strategy.

What Does Tony Love About GoodBookey?

Tony’s favorite thing about GoodBookey is the fact that it has provided a high-yield way to make charitable donations. In the future, Tony intends to make GoodBookey a for-profit business that won’t impact the charity’s cut.

We hope you’ve enjoyed this Team Member Highlight on one of our cofounders, Tony. Keep an eye on our blog for our next highlight!
